Background

I have a BSc in Software Engineering (First Class) from Sheffield Hallam University. After years as a software engineer, I transitioned into delivery management, where I've spent the past 8 years leading digital transformation projects in the public sector.

I'm a Delivery Principal at Version 1, working at the UK Department for Science, Innovation and Technology. Previously, I've had the privilege of working on some significant healthcare programmes, including the NHS App (serving 30+ million users), and various projects for NHS Digital, National Institute for Health and Care Research, and the UK Health Security Agency.

While my day job focuses on delivery and programme management, I maintain my technical skills through personal projects. I find that my engineering background helps me understand technical complexity and communicate effectively across disciplines.
